►INSPIRATION: The creative design behind each live edge guitar hanger is based on the musicians I admire in my life that made an impact and inspired me to play the guitar. It’s my token of appreciation for creating great music of my generation. Note*** Guitar in picture not included . Its solely use for descriptive visual purpose only.
►WOOD MATERIALS: Each live edge guitar hanger is uniquely hand-crafted and custom designed from
weathered-down trees found around metropolitan Phoenix, Arizona. By acquiring these logs, it allows me to create 100% sustainable, re-purposed live edge wood art designs. Locally source and made in North Peoria, Arizona. Both sides of the slab goes to a router sled table to obtain desired flat surface and thickness. As the wood slab ages, noticeable cracks on the wood may appear due to its natural dry cracking process and changes in humidity and temperature. Any voids or cracks from the wood are sealed with epoxy to maintain integrity of the wood.
►FRACTAL ART: A process of applying 20,000 volts of electricity to the wood surface recreating a lightning strike in slow motion as well as unique abstract figures, tree and vein like shapes. It is sealed with epoxy inlay ink self-leveling high gloss U.V. resistant formula.
►EPOXY COLORS: ANGEL WHITE, AQUA MARINE, ARIZONA GOLD, ARMY GREEN, BLACK, CARDINAL METALLIC, CARIBBEAN BLUE, DESERT COPPER, EMERALD METALLIC, GOLDEN YELLOW, GRAY METALLIC, HOT PINK, HUNTER GREEN, ORANGE, PEARL WHITE, PURPLE METALLIC, RED, SKY  BLUE, TEAL METALLIC, TURQUOISE BLUE
►OIL FINISH: Two coats of hand rubbed Old Masters clear satin gel polyurethane is applied on the guitar bodies.. Old Masters Gel Polyurethane is an oil-based clear gel finish that exhibits a soft sheen and a hand-rubbed look.
To revitalize desert hardwood, apply John Boos Mystery oil with a cloth. Wipe around the wood surface evenly. Wipe off excess.
►GUITAR HARDWARE: The new design, known as the “Guitar Keeper”, has a deep cradle design that prevents the guitar from being improperly placed into the hanger. This ultimately provides a safer hanger for your instrument, as the guitar needs to be lifted 2 inches and brought forward to be removed. The pivoting yoke allows for Electric, Acoustic or Bass guitar headstocks to be cradled perfectly while still hanging straight. Made in the USA.
►DESIGN ENGINEERING: Guihan Guitars researched and tested the use of proper hardware for mounting the String Swing guitar hanger to live edge wood materials. A threaded insert made of carbon steel zinc plated finished goes into predrilled hole and has internal threads. It offers a strong permanent thread to live edge hardwood and mount the guitar hanger yoke. Mounting hardware included with two drywall anchors and two 2-inch Phillips wood screws.
►MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS: To mount on existing stud walls, drive the screws through pre-drilled pilot holes of hanger into wall using a Phillips screwdriver. If a wall stud is not found, mark the pilot holes on the guitar hanger using a Phillips screwdriver to push and turn the aluminum wall anchor clockwise until flush. Mount the guitar hanger with screws provided through the pilot holes and secure into drywall anchors.
