►WOOD: Each live edge guitar body is uniquely hand-crafted and custom designed from weathered-down trees found around metropolitan Phoenix, Arizona. By acquiring these logs, it allows me to create 100% sustainable, re-purposed live edge wood art designs. Locally source and made in North Peoria, Arizona. It takes about 200 hours or more to complete each guitar build. Every guitar build is handmade without the aid of any CNC machine. Both sides of the slab goes to a router sled table to obtain desired flat surface and thickness. As the wood slab ages, noticeable cracks on the wood may appear due to its natural dry cracking process and changes in humidity and temperature. Any voids or cracks from the wood are sealed with epoxy to maintain integrity of the wood.
►BODY: The body is slight heavier due to being desert hardwood. Each body is hand-sanded and shape with minimal power tool use. Since desert hardwood materials are more dense and heavier in weight, the overall thickness between 1-1/2”-1-5/8” to lessen the overall weight of the body. This configuration is only for use with Hardtail fixed bridges. No CNC machine is ever used to shape our guitar bodies. Every guitar body I make starts by harvesting the log myself, put in the sawmill and cut to slabs and shape into a functioning custom made desert hardwood electric guitar with fractal art. Proudly handmade in North Peoria, Arizona.
►NECK: Guihan Fractal Guitars use USA Japanese and Canadian made necks for all custom electric guitar builds. The Warmoth brand is available for neck upgrade option.
►PICKUP OPTIONS: Guihan Fractal Guitars use Seymour Duncan and Razor pickups for all custom deluxe and platinum guitar builds. Price changes if you choose to upgrade to Seymour Duncan signature series pickups, Lambertones, EMG, Lolar pickups or request different pickup brand for your custom Guihan guitar build.
►STRINGS:  Guihan Fractal Guitars use Stringjoy Medium Gauge (50-105) 4 String Long Scale Nickel Wound Bass Guitar Strings String Joy strings are expertly crafted in Nashville, TN.
►TUNERS: Gotoh in line 6 tuners are used on deluxe and platinum series guitar necks.
►BRIDGE: For Hardtail bridge, Guihan Fractal Guitars use Gotoh, through-body string or top loading mounting.
For tremolo bridge setup, Wilkinson/Gotoh VSVG vintage and GFS D01 vintage bridge.
►WIRING HARNESS: The Art Of Tone Gavitt Cloth Wire, 22 Gauge Guitar Wire, Pushback Wire for all custom Guihan Fractal Guitars electric guitars made. USA-Made Excellence: Proudly made in the USA, our 22 AWG wire
showcases top-notch craftsmanship and materials, embodying American ingenuity.
►FRACTAL ART: A process of applying 20,000 volts of electricity to the wood surface recreating a lightning strike in slow motion as well as unique abstract figures, tree and vein like shapes. It is sealed with epoxy inlay ink self-leveling high gloss U.V. resistant formula. *Warning: Don’t try this at home. It is fatal and deadly.
►EPOXY COLORS: ANGEL WHITE, AQUA MARINE, ARIZONA GOLD, ARMY GREEN, BLACK, CARDINAL METALLIC, CARIBBEAN BLUE, DESERT COPPER, EMERALD METALLIC, GOLDEN YELLOW, GRAY METALLIC, HOT PINK, HUNTER GREEN, ORANGE, PEARL WHITE, PURPLE METALLIC, RED, SKY  BLUE, TEAL METALLIC, TURQUOISE BLUE. Other colors are available upon request.
►OIL FINISH: Two coats of hand rubbed Old Masters clear satin gel polyurethane is applied on the guitar bodies.. Old Masters Gel Polyurethane is an oil-based clear gel finish that exhibits a soft sheen and a hand-rubbed look.
To revitalize desert hardwood, apply John Boos Mystery oil with a cloth. Wipe around the wood surface evenly. Wipe off excess.
►TIMELINE: Guihan Fractal Guitars current timeline for completion is about 3-6 months from the time order is received. Every guitar build is handmade without the aid of any CNC machine.
►PAYMENT TERMS: Guihan Fractal Guitars require 50% deposit down payment non-refundable for all custom build electric guitars. We accept PAYPAL, American Express, Visa, Master Card, Discover, Venmo, CashApp, Zelle, and Apple Pay.
